August Clean Sweep

Co-Love Soul Forecast for August 2025

Themes: Discernment • Boundaries • Discipline

August is a month of clarity and courage. The energy around us is calling for a clean sweep. We’re shedding old stories, habits, and dynamics that no longer feel aligned, while staying grounded and steady as we prepare for bigger changes ahead.

This month is about discerning what’s truly yours to carry, setting strong, loving boundaries, and showing up with the discipline needed to walk your path with integrity. For some, this will feel like small refinements; for others, big turning points. Either way, August offers a chance to step further into your purpose and power.

One big theme surfacing is Simplicity. I’ve been asking this in my own life and in coaching sessions this month:

    •    What can I release to make space for what matters most?

    •    What can I reframe, reset, or let go of that feels heavy, complicated, or not mine to hold?

    •    Where am I overthinking, people-pleasing, or holding onto energy that drains me?

It’s okay to say “Enough is enough” and free yourself from old cycles, unrealistic expectations, or dynamics where you’ve been over-giving or over-accommodating.

Some of the teens I support have said: “It feels like I’m carrying everyone’s stress, and I can’t even find my own thoughts anymore.” If you’ve felt that too, you’re not alone—we’ve all been there. This month, the invitation is to set some of that weight down, take a breath, and trust yourself more deeply.

So, let’s dive in with some collective coaching for August. And I’d love to hear from you—what’s working in your own intentions, care, and self-coaching practices this month?

Collective Coaching for You

This is a month to turn pain into wisdom. Whether you’re a teen navigating identity and belonging, a young adult finding your footing, a parent holding space for change, or a coach walking alongside others, you’ll be invited to look honestly at where old wounds are still calling the shots.

Projections, judgments, and misunderstandings may pop up around you. This is your chance to discern what’s truly yours and what’s not. You don’t need to explain or defend your truth to everyone—just pause, stay rooted, and trust what you know inside.

You may have days of doubt or disorientation about your purpose. This isn’t failure, love—it’s transformation. Give yourself grace and let your identity shift toward what feels more real and aligned.

Try this: When you feel overwhelmed, pause and ask, “What would choosing myself look like right now?” Then take one small, safe step toward that wise answer.

Relationships

Every relationship—especially the one you have with yourself—may feel under the microscope this month.

For teens and young women:

    •    Notice where you bend too much to fit in.

    •    Set boundaries with friends or peers who drain you or cross your lines.

    •    Ask: Do I believe I’m lovable, worthy, enough? That’s the foundation everything else builds on.

For parents and coaches:

    •    This is a powerful month to reset family or mentor dynamics with truth, compassion, and healthy structure.

    •    Sometimes love looks like loosening control, and sometimes it looks like holding a firm, safe boundary. Discern which is needed in each moment.

A parent recently shared with me: “Coaching has helped me step back and let my daughter find her voice, while still being her anchor.”

This is the kind of shift that heals relationships from the inside out.

Some connections may grow stronger this month through honesty and mutual respect. Others may fade, and that’s okay. This is clearing space for the right people, support, and love to flow in. Allow it to.

Body + Emotional Health

Your body will likely mirror the deeper clearing happening this month. Old stress, grief, or ancestral patterns can show up physically, especially in digestion, joints, and overall energy.

Support yourself by:

    •    Moving your body daily to release stuck energy.

    •    Practicing grounding routines (breathwork, nature, journaling).

    •    Noticing what habits feel or harmful, and swapping them for nurturing ones.

    •    Simplifying your self-care instead of turning it into a perfectionist checklist.

One of my clients said it best: “Even one deep breath can change everything.” This month isn’t about doing more—it’s simply about making space to feel lighter, calmer, and more yourself.

Work, School & Projects

August can feel like too much if you’re trying to do it all. Productivity culture keeps us in overdrive, but healing, parenting, mentoring, and leadership thrive in slower, intentional rhythms.

This is the month to:

    •    Identify energy leaks (too many commitments, unclear expectations, draining conversations).

    •    Delay or simplify projects that feel forced.

    •    Build schedules and routines that leave space for breath, creativity, and connection.

    •    Say “no” to what’s not aligned so you can say “yes” to what truly matters.

For teens heading back to school, this is the perfect time to set personal boundaries around time, social media, friendships, and rest before the year ramps up. Coaching can make these limits easier to set—and easier to keep.

Environment

Your surroundings reflect your inner state. Declutter your room, workspace, or digital life to match the simplicity you’re craving inside. Let go of things that feel like old versions of you. Bring in what feels grounding, calming, and inspiring.

Nature is one of your best allies this month. Get outside often, even for a few minutes a day, to remember what really matters and how supported you already are.

Dates & Time Frames

AUGUST 1–7:

Themes around truth, fairness, and alignment emerge. Teens may feel pressure to say yes to new commitments or friend groups. Pause before reacting. Ask what feels simple and true.

AUGUST 8–15:

Full Moon in Aquarius (Aug 9) opens a window for reset and expansion. This is a great time for teens, parents, and coaches to reimagine the next chapter and release old fears or habits. One of my favorite prompts this week: “What gets to stay, and what can I thank and release?”

AUGUST 16–23:

Discernment is key. New school rhythms and shifting friendships may feel overwhelming. Boundaries need strengthening. The New Moon in Virgo (Aug 23) invites fresh structure and sustainable routines that bring peace, focus, and emotional safety.

AUGUST 24–31:

Organization, planning, and creativity flow in. You may feel more confident about your next steps. With creativity comes the temptation of old chaos—protect your energy, stay steady, and root into your personal intentions.
